There has been so many numbers reported about the condition of the Real Estate Market that I find them to be very confusing and to a degree very misleading. The numbers that are being reported are in my opinion driven by 4 States they are California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida. Those are the states that saw the biggest gain when the real estate market was in its hay day showing huge gains in property appreciation, and they lead the way in Short Sales and Foreclosures when the market fell. Now they are leading the way on home sales as a result of all the foreclosures and Short Sales. The message here is there is No National Real Estate Market. Real Estate is very local so don’t get lulled into a false sense of security when reading articles that the Real Estate market is seeing some nice gains in price and sales.
